PaTRAM Institute™ Presents: The Osanna Chamber Ensemble 2023 Live Concert Season In NYC

PaTRAM Institute™ has partnered with the talented Osanna Chamber Ensemble, comprised of the best student and young professional singers from around the U.S., to bring you an exceptional 2023 Concert Season!

Under the leadership of conductor John Arlievsky, and with many PaTRAM singers contributing their talents to the ensemble, the choir has achieved great heights, evidenced by their stunning musicianship, thoughtful programming and by bringing together the most valuable aspects of Orthodox and Western choral traditions.

To launch the 2023 season, we invite you along on a  life-lifting journey,  embodied by the artistry of Arvo Pärt’s Kanon Pokajanen. In this masterwork, Pärt weaves the fabrics of sound and silence as space and negative space. He approaches this medium through a sense of time that reflects the minimalism and timelessness of both the kanon’s Church Slavonic text and of Orthodox liturgics in general.
