“All-Night Vigil” Continues Garnering Reviews By Classical Music Critics
We are pleased to invite you to read a NEW review from Fanfare Archive online magazine.
Like many other reviewers of PaTRAM’s new release, the reviewer, Ken Meltzer, is moved by PaTRAM’s very own Chairman and oktavist-soloist, Alexis Lukianov. They are mesmerized by this oktavist’s deep-throated sound. Meltzer writes, “it is Lukianov’s sonorous, noble, and sepulchral call to prayer that inaugurates this All-night Vigil.”
We are sincerely grateful to be receiving reviews that praises the PaTRAM All-Male Choir™ recording of Rachmaninoff’s choral tour-de-force, the sublime “All-Night Vigil”. Today, the masterwork stands as the crowning achievement of the Russian Orthodox choral tradition. We were honored and humbled to have had the opportunity to create this recording, a labor of deep faith and love, in the Holy Land.
We invite you to read the full review, in context, which we hope you’ll find very compelling.
If you’d like to obtain a copy of the CD, please go to the PaTRAM website for a list of outlets. This recording can also be enjoyed on all your favorite digital music platforms.
