SUMMARY:Second Annual Summer Master Class in Russia
DESCRIPTION:The Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra Podvorie Moscow is welcoming the 2nd Annual Master Class to take place Thursday\, July 7th – Thursday July 14th\, 2016! \nThe class offers the opportunity for both male and female singers to join the renown Podvorie Choir in the singing of the Vigil and Divine Liturgy of Saints Peter & Paul. \nAs guests of the Podvorie\, participants are given the opportunity to work with Maestro Vladimir Gorbik in an intensive workshop in Slavonic sacred choral music. Participants will enjoy daily intensive workshop sessions and available guided excursions to Moscow attractions and Sergiev Posad Lavra. The package includes double occupancy accommodations\, all meals\, tuition and materials. \nRead about the success of our first master class here. \nPreliminary Tour Schedule:  \n•Thursday July 7 – ALL ARRIVE MOSCOW (TRAVEL DAY-NOTHING MANDATORY- ON OWN FOR MEALS) \n•Friday July 8 – Orientation\, Moleben 10am-6pm Class/Rehearsal \n•Saturday July 9 – Free Morning\, Optional Liturgy\, Afternoon Rehearsal\, Optional Vigil \n•Sunday July 10 – Excursion to Sergiev Posad Lavra ALL DAY \n•Monday July 11 – All Day Rehearsal\, Sing Peter & Paul Vigil \n•Tuesday July 12 – Sing Peter & Paul Divine Liturgy\, Excursion Christ the Savior and Kremlin \n•Wednesday July 13 – Excursion to New Jerusalem Monastery \n•Thursday July 14 – ALL DEPART MOSCOW (TRAVEL DAY-NOTHING MANDATORY) \n  \nLimited scholarships for tuition costs are available.
